MCDC continues to strive towards a holistic approach to serving the community, bettering neighborhoods, empowering people, and becoming more intentional with collaboration.
MCDC has adopted and put into action the words Philippians 4:13; which states that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Through this faith and strength the MCDC has been able to build single family homes as well as apartments; employ youth and young adults; develop a Subway Restaurant; open a medical clinic; extend financial literacy and micro-loans; provide assistance to homeowners through an emergency repair program; and grow urban gardens.
Over the years, the community and the MCDC has experienced trials, tribulations, as well as triumphs. But Galatians 6:9 reminds us “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” We have accomplished much through strong supporters and partnerships.
Thank you for your continued support
