Welcome to Memorial CDC!
At Memorial Community Development Corporation, we restore, strengthen and empower the most underserved people in the greater Evansville area. Our mix of programs uplift our community’s most vulnerable citizens by providing resources in the areas of affordable housing, economic development, education and youth programs, health and wellness and social justice.
A Letter from Our Founder and President
Welcome friends!
We have adopted and put into action the words from Philippians 4:13, which states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Through this faith and strength, Memorial CDC has accomplished the following.
- Build single family homes and apartments;
- Employ youth and young adults;
- Develop a Subway Restaurant;
- Open a medical clinic;
- Extend financial literacy and micro-loans;
- Provide assistance to homeowners through an emergency repair program; and
- Grow urban gardens.
Over the years, Memorial CDC and the community have experienced trials, tribulations and triumphs. But, Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” We have accomplished much through strong supporters and partnerships.
Thank you for your continued support!
Rev. Dr. Adrian M. Brooks Sr.
